For her Rooms With A View show house vignette, interior designer Peyton Cochran envisioned a lively game night among friends, complete with a custom mahjong table. Among the passersby was Sandi Wright, an entrepreneur, social impact advisor, and mahjong maven. She was immediately struck not only by the table’s unique design and functionality, but also by the fact that it was crafted locally. Sandi bought one on the spot, and she wasn’t alone.

What started as the talk of the show quickly came together like a winning hand. Peyton and Sandi began brainstorming together and BAM! Center & Spring was born.

Born from a love of design and game night, Center & Spring creates playful, yet functional tables and accessories designed to bring women of all generations together to connect, trade stories, and savor a little friendly competition. Proudly women-owned and locally made in Connecticut, every piece is crafted with purpose, infused with play, and destined for memories.
